Catholic Press Association Book Awards for 2017

Clear Faith Publishing is honored to announce that two of its authors and books were honored as recipients of the Catholic Press Association Book Awards for 2017.

In the category “Best Book from a Small Publisher”, Bro. Mickey McGrath’s graphic and inspirational book of Salesian wisdom “Be Who You Are, The Spirit of Saint Francis de Sales in Words and Illuminations” was awarded First Place award.

David Haas’ book, “My Heart is Ready, Psalm-Poems for Prayer and Proclamation” was awarded Second Place in the same category of “Best Book from a Small Publisher” and also was recognized with a Second Place award in the “Prayer” category. “My Heart is Ready” uses the psalms as an anchor for prayer, worship, and reflection.

We offer congratulations and blessings for Bro. Mickey and David Haas, and are delighted to collaborate with them. We are thankful to the CPA for this recognition!

Illumination Book Awards 2017

Each year the Jenkins Group, confers the Annual Illumination Book Awards. The goal is to draw attention to new titles with a Christian perspective. They look at a diverse group of publications and authors from around the world, from publishers large and small.

This year we were honored to learn that “Be Who You Are: The Spirit of St. Francis de Sales in Words and Illuminations” from Bro. Mickey McGrath, OSFS was selected. This book won in the Keepsake/Gift/Specialty Bible category.

Congratulations to all the winning authors, especially Bro. Mickey!

ACP 2016 Awards

With a goal of recognizing and highlighting the best Catholic books, the ACP (Association of Catholic Publishers) selects books in numerous categories for its annual awards. Clear Faith Publishing is proud to have been represented with multiple winners in recent years; in 2016 we had two award-winning volumes.

Bausch won First Place in the Scripture category in 2016. Although best known for his significant offerings in the world of liturgical Music, David Haas’ is also a gifted writer. His book “Welcome Faithful Presence, A Week of Praying the Hours with Henri Nouwen,” won Second Place in the Best Book From a Small Publisher category.
